The armchairs are extremely comfortable and I think the distance between the seats is extremely appropriate. There you in no way get the feeling of eating cucumber in a can in the evening. The service is always extremely diligent and always polite! Just right to be able to finish off a dessert afterwards. I was absolutely pleasantly surprised. We'll both be back for sure.

Always pleasant staff, nice decoration, games room with table football, we always eat very well. Nice terrace when the wasps are not there.

I like it. The staff is super friendly and very communicative. There is something for everyone, both in terms of drinks and food.

Great student restaurant with atmosphere. The food is delicious and the visit always varied due to the different guests. The prices are good and when the sun is shining it's just nice to get a seat outside.

Always worth a visit. Very friendly staff and the best breakfast in the world - until midnight! A closer look at the machines in the museum is also worthwhile :-) I wish there would be a café chaos in every city!

Super cozy café for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, the last meal before the party or after the Art Nouveau bath. Super friendly service and really nice atmosphere to just feel good. The food is very good and the portions are large!

Good option for a beer heavy evening or a quick lunch

The food was nicely presented and tasted good too. The waitresses were super personable and the facility was unique. We will be back definitely.

It is relatively expensive but a very pleasant atmosphere and the service is also very courteous and friendly. The food is also very tasty and you can order breakfast until midnight, so something for the late risers. Really recommendable!

Café Chaos is a cult. Even when I was a student, this shop was an absolute must - from the delicious and rich breakfast to the large selection of dishes to the great selection of drinks for pleasant evenings. I definitely recommend the pizza as well as the excellent breakfast. The wait staff are extremely friendly and of course it is also worth taking a look at the old machines that are hanging everywhere. Even after my studies, Cafe Chaos is still a great address for me - now I even go there for breakfast and pizza with my children. The audience is well mixed, as well as students you can also find older people - just a great atmosphere. As a Darmstadt citizen you should definitely stop by every now and then.

The Cafe Chaos is a must in Darmstadt. If you are new to the Darmstadt region, you should definitely visit. As mentioned in previous reviews, debit cards are not accepted. Bring cash. Friday and Saturday evenings can be very busy and noisy. But everything is worth it, especially the classic machines. I really enjoy this cafe even if it's just for a couple of beers.

Worth visting place

It was not the first time that I was there with friends and we had to wait very long to get the card at all. You are not asked for a second drink by default, you have to beg for it. The summit today was an employee at the counter who yelled and insulted me because I (for no bad reason) forgot to put on my mask on the way to the counter.

The best breakfast in town. Wonderful place where time was stopped. Very cozy atmosphere, large tables and great audience. Friendly staff and an atmosphere as if you were visiting friends. Of course, the food, cakes and coffee are also excellent. Incidentally, machines from past days are also staged.

One of my favorite places to go out with friends in Darmstadt for a late dinner. They have a cool menu with lots of variety and a very relaxed atmosphere.

One of my favourite places to go out and eat. The service is excellent. The food is housemade and very good. The atmosphere is unchallenged and unique. If you never been there give it a try! Prices are more then ok.

Nice and cosy place especially for breakfast. German version of Irish pub vibe. No Card payment though. Bring cash.

This place is for anyone who is looking for easy drinking and super delicious appetizers. It is a great place to be with friends.

Very welcoming to Americans

Super super tasty ice cream, however it took them more than 20 minutes to bring it. Overall great atmosphere and friendly staff.

This place has it's own charm! The waiter was very accommodating with our food preferences (vegan) and was able to clearly explain ingredients in different meals.

If you didn't go there you never went to Darmstadt - existing since the early 80's. Great breakfast and allot of other superfood.

Very nice and very friendly staff Very friendly staff A "chaos = caos" menu I could say, many things, all the tastes, it will be hard to decide what you can serve but interesting! Can sit outside or inside, the place is totally caotic decorated with all kinds of old machines, and many other interesting things! We like it very much here because we are always like a kind of people and everyone seems so happy in their world!

An exceptional place with lots of charm. You can sit inside as well as outside. There is breakfast around the clock, but also delicious pasta dishes, pizzas, tarte flambée and much more. There are machines all over the place where you can pull things from the ashtray to the chewing gum, very amusing. It is cozy, delicious and you are served very friendly.
